Long Beach
A serendipitous opportunity for long time renters to purchase the MCM house they had been residing in for years presented the opportunity to personalize the kitchen and two bathrooms to their taste. Finally! With a personal and specific art direction crafted by the owners, a new serene grey-green scheme for the galley kitchen subdues the graphic play of two toned cabinets, funky backsplash tile, and wild terrazzo countertops. The slow burn of playful energy cloaked under the surface of seemingly cool and understated continues into the reconfigured bathrooms. One a study in color-blocked zen and the other a balance of checkered and solid tile for contrast. Completed 2023.
