One Room Challenge - Week 3

Updated: Jun 23, 2020

Sadly I didn't get a lot of progress accomplished this week because of you know, LIFE. I was also thinking too hard about how to seamlessly pull off the mural. Too much time in my head, not enough doing. Basically I got the base color down and planned out how to proceed.

After the bunk beds went on to another home the blank white wall and mattress on the floor looked a little sad. It's hard to tell from this photo but the white wall was worse for wear with kid grime and it was begging for fresh paint.

I planned it all out in a digital sketch just so....and then Little Mess met me with resistance because she didn't understand my method and stubbornly painted over it. Thanks Ilana! Now you see the personality I'm working with and why it's hard to get much done around here. Baby steps!

I promise the mural wall and the light will be done by next week. No excuses. In the meantime, my more ambitious and productive fellow Featured Designers having been making progress so be sure to check on their rooms too. And take a look back at Week 1 and Week 2.
