One of the easiest and most enjoyable things to do as a home designer (professional or amateur) is to pick a little corner near your entertaining hub and set up a home bar. Its a sly way to infuse a small area with loads of style and it always ends up being handy to have a bar all set up when guests drop by.

Some of our favorite past home bar set ups.

Something as simple as a wood crate filled with spirits on a sideboard.

So, what does it take to get the most stylish bar set up going? Besides the liquor of course. Here are my suggestions for a nice selection of goodies to get you started.
