Los Feliz
A hip couple had newly acquired a classic U shaped 4000 SF midcentury home neighboring Griffith Park in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. The house been briskly renovated by flippers for less then stellar results. My clients wanted the kitchen and bathrooms to feel special, thoughtful, and high end.

The kitchen was reconfigured to showcase a central island with waterfall edges and light open shelving. Custom walnut cabinetry with brass and matte black accents keep it feeling both warm and masculine. The bathrooms took cues from the kitchen finishes and a more restrained Scandinavian feel.

The clients had moved from a 1900 SF home and were expecting twins, which required filling many rooms with a mix of their previous furnishings, unique vintage items, and artfully selected textiles, rugs, furniture, and accessories. The resulting finished spaces flow from one to the next to create an open, inviting, masculine and restrained collection of textures and finishes.
