Santa Monica Residence 2

A tired home is transformed through the power of paint, new wood floors, and contemporary fixtures into a modern classic that captures the laid back and sophisticated personality of its owners. It had been about 30 years since it was last remodeled. Paint was chipped and cracking, carpet was stained, 80's lighting and cabinets were generic. This very much loved family home was pleading for a face lift. Without moving walls or creating a major disturbance; beautifully stained white oak floors replaced linoleum and carpet, existing wood cabinets were painted and adorned with new hardware. Painted throughout, fixtures and appliances updated, and new lighting was installed to breath vitality into the home. The exterior received overdue repairs and a eye catching dark gray paint job. A consistent cool gray color scheme inside and out unified all the spaces. The before and after pictures speak for themselves.
