A midcentury home in the Culcrest area of Culver City needed to be updated but retain its original charm. A modern viewpoint was applied to the old layout to create a crisp, clean, inviting home with some retro notes. First the galley kitchen was addressed by tearing down a partition wall between the laundry area and the kitchen area. And slightly reconfigured. Next, we cleaned up the exterior by painting the brick and trim as well as updating the lights, landscaping, and house numbers. Finally, we tackled 3 bathroom remodels. A small powder room and kids' bathroom that related to each other with funky black and white tile. Then a master suite reconfiguration with a new walk-in closet to the marble clad spa like shower.
