A real estate advisory firm needed help with their new Century City office suite to take it from vanilla shell to a stylish and productive space. The design included the main work area with a lounge carved out at its center, the conference room, breakout rooms, and the private bathroom. The firm's employees are all under 40 so their offices had to feel young, but they also wanted to be taken seriously by any potential client walking through their doors. A monochromatic color scheme and midcentury profiles communicated that they are here to stay. The saturated blue accents and golden metallics add a playful note. The central lounge area brings to mind a boutique hotel with a little rock n' roll energy and encourages the employees to hang out (and stay late). These elements combine to create an effortless California Cool energy in the space.
