This Week in Instagram
Recently I was scared silly over a copyright infringement notice. It turned out to be completely meritless, but it did make me reassess my blog. I took down more than half my posts to date if they had any images from other designers or photographers that may be called into question at a later date. I know we all "link with love" but I don't think that holds up legally. So moving forward, this blog will no longer feature work or items that inspire me unless I have gotten express permission from the source. Instead, it will chronicle things I create, large or small, thereby producing original content. Hopefully, this shift will force me to be more hands on and create more things! I've become addicted to Instagram (follow me @nataliemyers) as the new social networking site to visit because I am attracted by all things visual. I am perpetually snapping photos of things that make me smile during the day and seeing what my friends and compatriots are up to. Each week, I'll give you a highlight of my best Instagrams. We'll see where this goes.
1) I found these amazing teak live edge slabs just begging to be turned into coffee tables. 2) Things were shifted around in Lev's room. 3) This vintage lamp induced a bedroom dresser restyle. 4) Good thrifting for Valentine's day. 5) Lev indulges in 2 hour long baths. 6) I scored two Stokke chairs for $50 each on Craigslist.
