My client K is a glamorous girl from Austin who is living temporarily in LA. She wanted a super feminine retreat of a bedroom. Lots of white, metallics, frills (bedroom reveal to come soon). Moving into the living room, she wanted to balance it out with a more masculine space that wouldn't be off putting to guests. Since she doesn't know how long she will stay in LA, she wanted inexpensive pieces so that she wouldn't feel bad if she had to unload the furniture on Craigslist in a few months when her stay was over. I'm really digging this uber-budget friendly scheme that does not look cheap.
Some Craigslist finds, some Cost Plus World Market, some midcentury knock offs. Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, and even Target accessories. No Ikea allowed on this one (except the curtains).
