Midas Touch

I got my hands on a can of gold spray paint and went to town. I spray painted more things than I care to admit, but these items came out the best. I found spraying onto metal or matte ceramics turned out so much better than spraying onto plastics or shiny melamines, which didn't take the paint evenly and easily scratched. Its a little addictive, I'm warning you.

The little hanging cage light by the bed was silver, but why not jazz it up to gold? Now it looks a lot more like this work lamp from Design House Stockholm I have always liked. And yes, for anyone who has seen my blog/guest room, this is the fourth or fifth version of it. Its just too easy to redecorate.
